LOUISIANA LOCATED CARRIERS
- For trucking companies located in Louisiana.
- Dues calculated based on number of units.
- $350 for the first 10 units.
- $20 per unit after the first 10 units.
- Maximum dues of $4,000.
CARRIERS BASED OUT OF LOUISIANA
- For trucking companies who do business in Louisiana.
- Dues calculated based on number of miles in the state.
- Select between six ranges of estimated miles driven.
- Minimum dues of $350.
- Maximum dues of $4,000.
ALLIED & PARTNERED INDUSTRY
- For service industry & professional service companies.
- Fixed dues, covering all company branches.
- Partners in supporting LA trucking industry.
- Networking opportunities.
- Listing in Buyer's Guide.
INDIVIDUALS & OWNER OPERATORS
- For owner-operators and single truck companies.
- Fixed membership, for one individual.
- Perfect for owner-operators, or single truck companies.
- Retirees & individuals.
- Limited eligibility.
Other Voluntary Dues
$75 Safety Management Council
A distinguished group of safety professionals who are very active in promoting the welfare and safety of the motor carrier industry. SMC members lead and learn at a varity of events throughout the year, including the Louisiana Truck Driving Championships and statewide Courtesy Vehicle Inspections.
$200 TruckPAC Contribution
Donations to TruckPAC, the Political Action Committee of the LMTA, are also welcomed. Your contributions will directly ensure business-friendly candidates are successful. Please note: Contributions to Truck PAC are not tax deductible for income tax and are for political purposes and voluntary with individual information disclosed to the State Board of Ethics.
